This Weiss Watch Company timepiece is warranted for a period two (2) years from the original date of purchase under the terms and conditions of this warranty. The Weiss Watch Company warranty covers materials and manufacturing defects for the timepiece. A copy of the receipt is required for proof of purchase and warranty dating. The warranty does not cover case or crystal damage, water damage*, or damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents, or normal wear and tear due to improper handling. This warranty is void if the timepiece has been damaged by accident, negligence of persons other than authorized Weiss Watch Company sales or services agents, unauthorized service, unauthorized sales, or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship. Warranty does not cover shipping fees.
Please insure the value of your goods when shipping back to Weiss Watch Company and safely and securely package your timepiece inside of a box. Our warranty is not applicable for items lost or damaged in transit, so we recommend using a reputable shipper that allows you to track your package and retain proof of mailing and strongly advise against shipping with USPS
due to unreliable delivery of packages. Our warranty is void if the timepiece is not shipped to us safely and securely within a box. Please be careful when packing merchandise to avoid damaging items.
We strongly advise that you read the “Field Watch Instructions” that arrive with each new timepiece.
Straps: Damage to straps is not covered under warranty. Just like our timepieces, our Horween leather straps require proper care and attention also. Leather is a living material that is both sensitive and delicate. Please note that exposure to moisture, skin care products, chemicals, heat, water, or indelicate handling may accelerate the aging of your watch strap. As a rule, leather straps last between 6 and 9 months.
In order to best protect the movement from moisture, please ensure that the crown is always fully closed and against the case after setting the time or adjusting its functions. If water accidentally seeps inside the case, you notice traces of moisture, or see visible rust, please reach out to us as quickly as possible to service your timepiece. After contact with seawater, please rinse your timepiece in fresh water.
Avoid taking timepieces into hot tubs, steam rooms, or saunas. Each timepiece leaves the Weiss studio fully water resistant, but water damage is not covered under warranty as the water resistance of a timepiece is not a permanent characteristic and can be affected by the external environment and wear and tear. This is not a dive watch, and as such, we do not recommend participating in water sports activities while wearing this timepiece.
