Our flagship American made Field Watch case is a military-inspired, practical heirloom, and its sophisticated, signature design blends the art of simplicity with high quality finishing.
The case was designed and manufactured in Los Angeles in 316L stainless steel, with solid lugs designed to make swapping its strap easy for each and every occasion. Dressed up or down, a Field Watch is the perfect choice for every occasion and a symbol of American ingenuity and integrity.
Our cases originate from a 8-foot long, solid rod of 316L stainless steel.
Each case is machined from start to finish in a single operation from this solid block of stainless steel, at which point it is inspected by a computerized measuring system.
A person further completes the quality control process by visually inspecting and deburring the case parts before they are delivered for hand polishing and finishing.
All of this takes place just a short drive from the Weiss studio.
Further inspection and polishing takes place in the machine shop at the Weiss studio.
These cases then move onto the next step of ultrasonic cleaning and onto assembly before becoming a part of our Field Watch.
