Horween Shell Cordovan Strap
Horween Shell Cordovan Strap

$200.00

Each strap is expertly crafted from Horween’s Genuine Shell Cordovan leather, renowned for its durability and rich, smooth finish.

The shells undergo a meticulous 6-month tanning process at Horween, America’s oldest operating tannery. Skilled artisans tan, stuff, polish, steep in vegetable liquors, hand curry, and shave each piece, resulting in a leather with unparalleled character and quality. Each strap is then individually handmade in the USA by expert leather craftsmen. Due to the handcrafted nature, each strap has unique characteristics, adding to its one-of-a-kind appeal.

Our straps are designed for both comfort and style and are specially made to fit the Field Watch with a 20mm lug size. Please note that the buckle is sold separately for an additional $20.

High quality

Compared to other leather straps I've had I feel like this is actually very good value for how high quality it is. I have one on my Omega Speedmaster and Weiss Field Watch (blue dial) and they both look phenomenal in my opinion. I expect it will last me much longer than 6 months. Smells good too!

It’s fine, but the leather is not as thick as one I bought with a Weiss watch several years ago. The straps were not well matched either, with one being silky smooth, and the other almost rough. Some will say “well, it’s a natural material and this will happen.” To that I would say I have owned $40 straps made in England that were better. Keep in mind I’m a fan… I just want you keep the quality up.
