The 38mm Automatic Issue Field Watch was designed as an everyday mechanical watch. It is straightforward, highly wearable, and built to live on the wrist for years.

Each watch is assembled by hand in our Nashville workshop in small production runs using the Weiss Caliber 2130 automatic movement. The 38mm case size wears comfortably across a wide range of wrists while maintaining the proportions and legibility that have become central to the Weiss design.

Available in Blue, Black, White, and Latte, each dial takes on a different character depending on the strap, light, and wear over time. Applied numerals, black oxide-treated hands, and BGW9 lume keep the design clean and highly legible without feeling overly precious or overly technical.

The inspiration behind the Automatic Issue collection came from old field watches, analog instrumentation, workshop equipment, and the kinds of objects that quietly become part of daily life through regular use.

Each watch is paired with a handcrafted strap made in Nashville using carefully selected materials chosen to soften, wear in, and develop character naturally over time.

Finished and assembled by hand in Nashville, the Weiss Caliber 2130 is based on the 2892A2 automatic movement and features a screw-down crown, custom date wheel, Incabloc shock protection, and 42-hour power reserve. Designed with long-term serviceability in mind, every watch is built to be maintained, worn often, and passed down.
Individually handcrafted and expected to ship in a minimum of 10-12 weeks.

Water-resistant up to 300 feet, it features a sweeping seconds hand and a custom date wheel that complements the dial. With a 42-hour power reserve, this timepiece is built to endure. Sapphire crystal highlights the intricate movement, encased in stainless steel, with black oxide-treated hands and a hand-painted naval brass dial. Each timepiece is paired with a hand-stitched strap, selected to complement your style.

Incredible timepiece that was 100% worth the wait. I bought this watch to commemorate 3 years of sobriety and I instantly knew I made the right choice. First word out of my mouth was “Wow.” The latte dial is incredibly warm and easy to read. The Horween leather strap is crazy comfortable right out of the box. Can’t wait to build a beautiful patina over the years. Knowing Cameron personally built this little machine I’ll carry with me every day is pretty special. Huge fan of his and his mission to revive American watchmaking. If you’re thinking about one of these watches, just do it.

A handsome piece suitable anywhere

You can only wear one watch at a time, so might as well have one that's worth wearing. And this is the one! As a field watch, it's super visible with a rugged yet refined look. Having seen every one of Cameron's videos, I have to agree that "you can see the watchmaker" in this piece.

Great American Made Watch

Very happy with my purchase of the Weiss 38mm field watch. It's exactly the right size for my wrist, looks great and keeps accurate time. Dial is very easy to read. The automatic wind works very well as, unlike other automatics I own, I have yet to have to manually wind the it.
