Fantastic Timepiece

I have followed the Weiss story since early on in the WatchandListen podcast. I finally decided to order one and could not be happier. The craftsmanship really shows and the watch is so intricate. The clear case back displays a genuine work of art, and the engraved serial number makes you realize just how limited and special these pieces are. I love watching videos of Cameron and the team servicing the watches and have had only pleasant interactions with Cameron and Whitney. I cannot wait to see where this company goes and I’m glad to be along with the ride!

Very nice watch.

The watch exceeded my expectations. It is extremely legible like all Weiss watches. The fit and finish feels very high end. I am having to get used to the 38 mm size as my other 2 Weiss watches are 42 mm, but this 38 mm is the correct size for my wrist. This has become my daily driver with the Cordura canvas strap and I have both my 42 mm watches on shell cordovan straps and am using them as dress watches.

Field-Watch Function, Dress-Watch Aesthetic

Field watch functionality with dress watch design aesthetic: classic, minimalist. So often, field watches go to extremes for "manly utility" and end up drab and clunky, with obtrusive numerals and indices. This is clean, clear, and sturdy but also light and elegant. If watches say something about us, this says elevated but rational--a watch and life that doesn't seek needless complication.

The only design flaw I've experienced is in the sliding loops of the cordura strap. On the underside, where the seams are sewn together, the rough edges have been rubbing at the skin on my wrist. I've flipped them over and ordered a different strap. Otherwise, no complaints. Don't hesitate.
