Custom Caseback Engraving

We're pleased to announce we offer Custom Caseback Engraving for an additional $85.

Our next series of CAL 1003 movements is currently being machined inside our Los Angeles workshop. Each one is a bespoke piece that is handcrafted by Cameron Weiss in an over 60-hour process. A pre-order placed today will likely take around 12 weeks to complete depending on the current waiting queue and will ship to you once it is ready.

We are proud to offer CAL 1003 within our American Issue Field Watch - Latte Dial, our third timepiece featuring our Weiss CAL 1003, which is manufactured and assembled in our Los Angeles workshop. This American Issue timepiece includes our CAL 1003 movement from our new production line with a higher beat rate of 21,600 BPH paired with a re-engineered mainspring and the addition of a hacking feature that stops the sweep second hand when the crown is pulled out for setting. Developing these three elements advances the accuracy of our timepiece. The movement is rhodium plated and visible through an open case-back enclosed in sapphire crystal. The dial is machined from naval brass and hand-painted in latte with black accents proudly declaring our Los Angeles, California heritage. The case is machined from solid 316L stainless steel with sapphire crystals on the front and back.

Hands are a special black skeletonized design as a nod toward vintage design. Dials are machined from one solid piece of naval brass and have been hand painted for maximum legibility. A handmade natural leather strap with contrast stitching is supplied by Horween, the oldest operating tannery in America.  The American Issue Field Watch - Latte Dial is a limited production timepiece built by hand. The timepiece and movement are individually numbered, and delivered in our custom-built California pine wood box, also built by hand in the USA.
