Due to the handmade nature of our timepieces, please be aware that your Field Watch is made to order and takes time to receive. If this is a gift, please do let us know, and we will send a note for the person to open up. Orders placed now have an estimated delivery date of early February.
During Cameron Weiss's endless quest to produce the finest mechanical timepieces, he created the Standard Issue Field Watch. In the latest edition of the Field Watch, he has refined his design to be thinner and even better for everyday wear. Each timepiece was developed using his background in traditional Swiss watchmaking and true passion for building and craftsmanship. When he is not at his work bench creating these fine timepieces, he is testing and developing each iteration of his work while diving deep into the kelp forests of the Pacific Ocean or climbing high into the snowy Sierra Nevadas with his dog in order to produce the world's finest Field Watch.
Weiss Watch Company is proud to offer a mechanical timepiece built in the USA. Each fully mechanical movement is our manually wound Caliber 1005 which is comprised of over 100 Swiss parts that are hand-finished and assembled in Los Angeles, California. The case and caseback of the timepiece are machined from one solid piece of surgical grade 316L stainless steel and polished individually by hand. Sapphire crystals are used on the front and back of the case for strength and durability and display our highly finished movement inside. The hands of the timepiece are skeletonized black steel. Dials have been machined from one solid piece of naval brass that is then hand painted latte with black numerals for maximum legibility. Each leather strap is made of Horween leather and individually handcrafted in the USA by expert leather craftsmen. Since each one is handcrafted, each strap has its own unique characteristics from the tanning process and handmade nature of the product. The strap is designed for comfort and is made specially to fit the Field Watch. The Special Issue Field Watch is a limited production timepiece built one at a time by hand. Each individually numbered timepiece is delivered in our custom-built California pine wood box, also built by hand in the USA.
