Just a side note: your web site indicates that Watch is not made until the order is received and that it should take 30 days within a week or so. I received notice that the watch was in the mail so are they not made upon receipt of order just makes you wonder.

I have visited the Weiss website off and on for 18 months, ever since I got to see my friends Weiss Field watch w black dial in 40 mm and brown leather strap (the black and brown combo works well w that watch). He loves it and uses as his daily and has already experienced routine service w Weiss which he reported as easy, straightforward, and friendly. So I was already sold on quality, look and feel of these watches. I had noted multiple colored dials as limited editions, but not on the 42mm Field watches. They actually had been offered, but I kept missing them as they are limited editions. Thus I hadn’t found my desired Weiss watch to date. I had the fortunate opportunity to recently visit Weiss watch factory and it’s watchmaker Cameron Weiss, and it was a fun and informative experience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Nashville… add to your list along w the Country Music Hall of Fame, Parthenon, and Lane Motor Museum. It certainly increased my emotional engagement w Weiss Watch. Currently there are two 42 mm Limited Edition Field watches…. Both in black Titanium case w DLC coating and w black or ceramic green dial. The ceramic green color is unique. The photos are intriguing as it looks dark and sophisticated and almost too “serious.” I was leaning towards the black dial but my daughter convinced me to go for the green. Being able to see the owners VW Beetle in their factory parking area was helpful, and the ceramic green dial is true to the color of their car. Anyway, I’ve been wearing the watch and the green hue definitely changes depending on the light. In broad daylight it is a joyful green and stands out. In the evening when indoors I get the more subtle and sophisticated hue. The watch wears well and despite its size at 42 mm feels very “light” on my wrist. I requested the rubber strap that goes with the Limited edition black dial titanium watch and was accommodated. (Thank you!). That strap is creatively designed, feels great, and is fun. I think the designer on the Weiss team must have enjoyed creating it. I am blessed to own a few other luxury watches, and was always slightly surprised at the sloppy handwriting on those watch identity cards. The Weiss team has designed a great looking card (don’t know the material but I will say titanium which doesn’t make sense but is accurate re. color and hardness of the card) and it makes a huge difference to know that Cameron Weiss himself signed and filled it out. Super cool. Plus I get to be #9 out of limited run of 20 which is fun which is reflected on both the watch itself (engraved) and the card. The attention to detail re. the box was also great. Mr. Weiss appreciates what customers of high-end watches expect, but instead of copying exactly what other brands do, the Weiss brand emulates yet creates its own signature style. The wooden box is branded with the Weiss logo, the watch itself comes in a nice canvas pouch with nice enclosures. I know it seems silly to be impressed with a canvas bag, but all together the entire experience of opening the box complete with how the watch is revealed inside is nice and unique.
